Hi all,
I was about to post this when I came across Dave's post on Panama. I've been trying to get some info about opportunities there. (Dave, I even emailed Melly, and it was returned).
Has anyone been to Panama? Can anyone shed some more light?

the same olthing.
Be prepared to go through the bureaucratic maze to obtain a work permit. Its possible to get a job without one, but that becomes a little bit more difficult everyday. Permits are regularly turned down now if you dont have some sort of "connection" here.
In the last year or so, it seems there are more teachers than jobs. In times of desperation you can try Berlitz or the ELS Center. Both suck, but its something.
Come with $$$ and be prepared to hire a good lawyer.
Good luck!! |
