Hi All--

Would you please send me a postcard that you think best represents where you are living? And tell me what it is like and why you like it there? Or something along those lines.

When I was deciding what teaching materials to bring to Mexico, I packed my postcard collection on a whim. It turns out I've found several good ways to use it in class and the students absolutely LOVE it. But I need more of them. Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States, in particular, are seriously under represented, but please send me a card from where ever you are.

Please send them to me at my address in the United States:

Jill Jefferson
1013 Hollyhock Drive
Henderson, Nevada 89011
USA

Thank you!!

Brilliant! Could have my students write them, maybe get some at the 88 yen shop. I like the idea because the students can be creative, express themselves, and challenging because of the space. That's sweet!
Count me in. You send me one too, yeah? Good idea Gaijinalways!!!
Enjoy,

I was thinking the same...not terribly exciting for Morelia kids to get a postcard from DF.

OK, I'll get one from San Francisco in the mail next week. The coolest city I've never called home... (It was close enough to home for 6 years, though, if that counts!)

And I assume we're supposed to write something--you suggested why we like the place.

The Tri-angle, yeah? What was it, Northbeach? And DV8, swanky club on the water, still there? That city rules. The Palace on a foggy night, oh yeah!...Presidio Point, watching guys take off right in front of you on montstorous waves...an adults Disneyland I always said.
