i'm due to leave for korea within the next couple days. problem is my 30-day visa expires on monday. so here's my question:
if i leave for korea on tuesday or wednesday, should i just overstay my visa and pay the fine? are there any other penalties i should be aware of?
is there any way to get an extension on my visa? i'm in phuket now. or would i really just have to make the bus trip to burma?
some good advice would be great. thanks guys! |

thanks for all the advice kent. you've been extremely helpful to me the entire time. i probably won't be posting in this forum much anymore, as i'm heading to korea for six months to make some dough. i hope to spend a year working in japan after that, and hopefully i'll be off to grad school afterwards.
life is good.
anyway, take care guys and enjoy living in paradise. i'm sure i'll miss the beaches and the banana pancakes the moment i step off the plane at incheon. |
