I live in Minnesota and would love to do TEFL or ESL work here. Does anybody work in Minnesota who could tell me about the job market here or where you work? Thanks!
Blessings,

Hi Andrea,
There is an ELS center on the campus of of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. They usually need some extra teachers in the summer to do TEFL. There is some work in adult basic education teaching immigrants and refugees, mostly part-time, but jobs are pretty difficult to come by because a lot of the adult immigrants are taught in volunteer-led programs. Maybe you could find a program to start volunteering with and see where it leads. Good luck! |
