I've never worked for Web, so I do feel a bit guilty coming in on here. The other post I got here was due to the contract issues there. Anyway, WEB's an interesting one to me.
Yamahuh seems to be a rather reasonable and rational one here. Hats down to ya.
Babala,

yes ... and I agree .... although i do not know the whole stories of those teachers on this forum or this chain school, i'd raise that possibility that some may have had issues with the chain school's head office .... understanding your quote as those posters put other teachers down (i agree with you that they shouldn't), some might actually be putting the chain's management down instead ...if, and i'd like to emphasize that IF, a chain's management is incompetent, then the centers might not function well either .... not that the Web is or that this issue has been brought up strongly enough here ...having said all that, i still agree with you
There's one nice Web in Nanning ...really fine building and in a great location ... i wouldn't mind working for them .... they've got those bodacious receptionists with just the right curves and a rather reasonable academic supervisor .... i've also met one of their teachers a few times .. a well groomed big guy who's worked there for a while
Peace to Web
and
cheers and beers to all hard working FTs in China |

| Myesl, it is precisely that kind of cynical, aggressive attitude that spoils this board. Babala is quite upfront about working for Web, |
No. She did not say she works for WEB on this thread. The person asking is obviously a newbie and unaware. She should state the fact clearly on each new Web-related thread, otherwise it's the same as not stating it at all because how's a newbie like the OP to know?

1) Because many schools in China are bad. Is this a secret? Do I just happen to talk to disgruntled FTs and miss all those that think their schools are great? AND because by not identifying yourself, it is suspicious. How can you possibly not see that? It's common sense that someone might ask something compromising if they don't know you are them.
2) Most people who talk about a particular school DO note that they do or have worked for the place, if that's the case. It's just simple honesty.
Louis, you two are what ruin this board. You make illogical statements and assume that every poster must know everything that has ever been posted on this board, or at least must know everything you know.
Just noticed the change in the thread as the notification feautre on Dave's doesn't work. |

myesl,
If you doubt any positive feedback from a teacher about a school because you feel there are so many bad schools out there then frankly I really don't know why you choose to stay here |

no secret at all....many chinese business people practice whatever they consider right under their circumstances ... what does it really take to have a license for a private language school in china ... then what are many foreign "experts" told to do by their employers with rather limited knowledge, experience or education
cheers and beers |
