I will only come if Capergirl appears WITHOUT her sparkly trousers.
As a concession I am prepared to leave my clothes at home as well.

Okay. But remember the tentative meeting place is England in Febuary. Wink Sounds a chilly proposition.

Also don't forget that this is London - you may need to re-mortgage your house before you can afford a night out on the town here...

Sadly, this is one conference I will have to pass on. My monkeys won't stand for me being away from them that long Rolling Eyes

Of course, is anyone up for a meeting in Nagoya, to be timed for the exact same moment as the one in London? maybe include a few mobile phones in teh mix and call each other Cool

Well, how about Brighton then? It's less than an hour from London and is half a degree warmer. Sometimes. Y'know, due to the sea. Warm currents, innit? Or is that half a degree colder? Anyway, it's further south. Like Spain. Yup.

Don't worry about the weather - we'll be spending half the time trying to get around on the tube anyway, and that's underground.

Are we splintering off into geographical factions now? Nagoya sounds more practical for me.

Hey, how 'bout a video conference linked between Nagoya and London/Brighton?

Sounds like a good idea. Of course, due to busy scheduiles and teh like, it is possible that not everyone can attend such an online conference at teh same time, so we'd have to make a discussion board to accomodate it Twisted Evil

That's a good point. Do you think Dave would be willing to set up some kind of discussion board for ESL teachers? I'm sure some of the people who might want to attend the meet-up would become regular posters.

Let's see, it was Denise who suggested the webcams, and you who said you weren't bringing the sparkly trousers. Can us gents help it if you are inadvertently proposing a certain male fantasy Laughing

Personally, I couldnt care less about the webcam. But do bring a mobile phone so we can do some kind of link up. And please, DO wear the sparkly trousers Razz
