Thanks to taikibansei for contributing to this answer. I can add that PT people may or may not need master's degrees. They don't have to go through dispatch agencies to be PT.

Personally, less than a handful. If people who write on these discussion groups truly represent themselves, then I know of at least 5-10.

Stability is in the eye of the beholder. You get a full visa sponsorship with Westgate, which lets you stay in the country and look for other work after you have finished with their 3 month stint. It's practically as good an "in" as getting sponsored by NOVA, et al. and quitting after a full contract is up.

It should, but I'm sure some people will stretch the truth and say they have taught for So-and-so University instead of Westgate, where they were farmed out to that university. Looks better that way, of course. |

| Thanks for the help everyone. If I can't find anything good for January, then maybe it'd be a good idea to do a camp in Korea for that month. They'd pay for my ticket to Korea, which would make it a cheap trip to Japan, where I could find good work in March (right?). Thanks again. |

Of course, I can't speak for every employer in Japan, but I'd say that you could find the work in March, but you'd likely be starting in April, because that's when most contracts seem to begin. |
