Hi. I am looking for any information about teaching in Rabat, specifically at ALC, they recently posted a job ad. Stats are: female, but fiance will come with, both expereinced teachers, I am finishing an MA as we speak, we are both Canadian.
Thanks. |

Hi Erica,
First off, I have never taught in Morocco, but have visited Rabat and it is one of my favorite cities. It is a very liveable city, but I don't speak French and my Arabic is a different dialect and a bit limited. I have friends who have taught at ALC branches around Morocco and most enjoyed it and many have been there for years.
If you want to read about the situation at ALC Rabat, check out the Job Information Journal / Africa / Morocco. About halfway down the list there is a long description of the situation there. It is still accurate as far as I know. I think this posting covers almost every question you could come up with and if you have any further questions, Mr Butzbach is very approachable if you wish to email him after TESOL in Baltimore where I expect he is at the moment. |
