Is it true that there's a rapist in the new ET books?

I was listening to it on my MP3 player in a dolmuş yesterday. I was fit to bursting with laughter, everyone thought I was a loon.

Me too, especially the grubs eating digestive biscuits. However, I think podfather 2 is the best one especially the skit about Karl going to the moon.

which 6 people he'd take to another planet?

I liked the bit about the diary and pancake day.
Why have it at all? You have to make them yourself, so just do it when you want!

And exactly what did they use Roger the Rapist for?

Quote:
Present Simple - Routine

Below is a page from Roger the Rapist's monthly planner. Write 4 sentences about the habits of a rapist.

That will be a trivial pursuit question of the future.... might include that in a future pub quiz. Just be glad they found their way and had some decent grub.

btw have you seen the new wiki format... my fave is

Student A: Look at the picture on page 124. Student B, look at the picture on page 126. What is Roger doing in the pictures? What are the differences? Describe your picture to your partner. There are 10 differences of increasing depravity and violence.

I still want to know which vocab is pre-taught. Is Roger a sensible rapist? Does he wear a condom?

What about parts of the body? You could do a nice follow on vocab lesson or elicit the correct vocab and pre-teach. A follow on writing lesson-write the police report or a newspaper story. The lead-in newspaper story could be matching real life rape stories with their headlines-great DELTA writing lesson there. A follow up video lesson where you watch a real life rape-of course you would have your pre-during-post video task-a follow up drama lesson-TG would like that.

Good to see despite your time over there, you've still kept your eye in.

For the listening, there's always the interrogation.

Quote:
We are going to listen to Roger being questioned by the local police.

Do you think Roger is guilty or not?
What helped you make your decision?

Now listen again and answer the questions below:

Followed up with more open discussion.

Quote:
How would the interrogation differ in your country? If found guilty, what would happen to Roger in your country? What do you think should happen to people like Roger?

Some words that might help you -

To be strung up by the goolies
To be sodomized by an elephant in musk

You can see why they used Roger. He's just so agreeable.
