Today I was remonstrating about my time at HESS. I have the following notions, so I'd appreciate it if you all might give me some imput. It has to do with the legality of working here, of course, but this is my conclusion.

When working for HESS:

*They hire "illegals." Despite their "sterling" reputation, the school I worked for, in Chen Chung(?,) Qizhang, had one guy-Eduardo-who'd worked there for over two years. Something to consider. Why?

*The people they hire, therefore, "the legals," are actually pawns. THERE'S NO WAY, UNDER THE GIVEN CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE ESL WORLD IN TAIWAN, Mr. Chu(Shu,) or the owner, could've afforded oherwise. The kindy I subbed for, needed subs all the time. There was a heavy emphasis on molding. Deceptives use this motive to play up to the weakness of human nature to belong. Yes, this speaks for all jobs here, but in one way.

*Taxes, plain and simple. Yes, this speaks for all jobs here. But my notion of HESS is that they are hiring new teachers from abroad in such a large quantity they can skim off the top, avoid scrutinization from authorities, and even have great "guanxi" to cover things up.

*This means, from my understanding, THAT HESS HAS AN ORGANIZED NETWORK that should be investigated by Taiwanese authorities, unless, of course, they are successful enough to "fire" an employee and hire "illegals" on the side. They can do this then, without end.

This I say, until he realizes his wife is a US citizen.

My notions, that's all.

And you who read this, from HESS, you know why you have kept watch on this forum.

This is nothing new; the Hessians have always been rather mercenary in thier business dealings...

Hi StayingPower:

Out of curiosity, what did they dislike enough during your 30 day trial that Hess opted not to continue your contract?[/quote]
