Another chance to test yourself on all things trivial! Be at Nar Pera this Thursday (9:45pm for a 10:00pm start) for a chance to stake your claim amongst the elite intellectuals. Failing that, at least come and have a beer. |

Have any posters ever actually been to one of the pub quizes. Have you sneaked in and taken part.
Yaramaz, you have no excuse as Nar is about a 2 minute walk from your apt. |

Actually, dmb, I do have an excuse- I'll be in Dubai/India for a month, leaving tomorrow morning. Sorry! Maybe in March? |

Man, I'll work for a language school, too next year! If that means you earn enought to go on holiday frequently AND can just take the time off, sod off with working at a normal school. *dagi is just plain jealous and want to go travelling for a month, too *
Since I am dying of boredom this week I'd love to come. But I doubt that the beer will go well with those antbiotics that are currently flushing my system. Although....beer is good to rinse your kidneys, isn't it? I mean it does make you pee really often, right?
Maybe one of my colleagues joins and we can then repeat the whole pub quiz on our service bus when we get stuck in traffic. |

I would have come but I'm too fat. And a bit stupider than usual these days... |

Darling, you aren't fat- you're just full of baby. Like water weight, it does go away. |

I worry that mobile phones with the capacity to Google will ruin the pub quiz.
1. Who scored the most goals for a top flight football team in one season?
2. Who is the best Welsh goalkeeper ever?
3. Which team did Gary Linekar play for before moving to Barcelona in the 1986/87 season?
4. Which team played at Liverpool's current ground before moving?
5. Which footie team is much better than all the others? |

3. Everton
4. Everton...
5. Everton !
Okay here's one - who's the only member of the Royal family to have managed an FA cup winning team?
*note "royal" may be misspelt |
