I live in Henan. It's where I travel much. But one thing in there is true...in is not just aids. When people stick needles, shared or not totally clean needles, into their veins, foreign bodies enter into the system, breaking down the immune system. Just as deadly of course. This is why most hemopheliacs die today. They are alawys pumping foreign substances into their veins, and after a while, it takes its toll. Convenient to blame it on Hiv or AIDS. But the wives of hemopheliacs who had unprotected sex (before the rage of HIV) do not have a higher rate of HIV. This is also true among IV drug users who share needles. Doesn't matter if they have HIV or not. The foreign substances from needles not sterilized kills them.

Reusing of needles was (is? ) common. Prvious foreign teachers gave me some horror stories about doing the mandatory blood test . But you rarely hear about this because like SARS (briefly) AIDS activism is extrremely big business

All the money lost in Henan during SRS, of course, just makes things worse. Of course, the UN never bothered to say how many more people died in Henan from non-SARS pneumonia then from SARS.

I believe the final tally for "SARS" pneumonia is that the death rate was no greater then other virus-pneumonias or bacteria pneumonias that can not be treated with drugs. BUT SARS was big political bucks

I'm also in Henan. When I had flu my boss really wanted to pack me off to the college clinic for an 'injection'......a medically unwarranted IV drip....silly foreign woman didn't want this, oddly enough. Apparently you pay a hefty surcharge if you want a new (non-reused) needle.

Also, it's surprising that the article is still accessible (I immediately downloaded it in case that changes Cool ). If you enter 'Henan' into Google most of the refs are about this. Pretty much all such articles were blocked last time I tried looking....I actually first did that search looking for other info, having moved here from elsewhere in the country....isn't that the first step in the Betty Ford programme...recognise that you have a problem?????

Well, I must eat my words. Enter 'Henan' and 'AIDS' into Google and virtually all the pages that it comes up with are accessible, except the obvious ones like that agent of Western political imperialism, Amnesty, and those associated with the evil mind control cult.
