Having been in China for the last 5 years or so I'm ready for a change.
I spent some time in Japan and would like to return but this time I would prefer a small uni in a remote northern location. The more remote the better. The bar-hopping life is behind me and quiet time at home has taken precedence over the need for socializing so being the only foreigner within a few hundred miles doesn't bother me.
Does anyone have ideas/suggestions on a small uni needing a teacher?

Do you have a master's degree (or higher) with at least 3 refereed publications? Those are pretty much the minimum standard requirement for any university job in Japan.
