Hi! I'm moving to Vina del Mar to teach English at One World Nursery school in the end of January. I was wondering if anyone else was going to be around there and maybe we could meet up. I don't know anyone down there, so I figured I might as well ask! Happy New Year!!! Very Happy

Hello,
I will be flying into Santiago Feb 1st. I am a canadian teacher and hope to find a job teaching somewhere outside of Santiago. I would love to meet up. I am travelling alone and don't know anyone there yet either.
I have never been to chile before and am not too familiar with the teaching opportunities there. Any info you might have would be appreciated.

Hey,

I'll be flying into Vina del Mar on the 27th of this month. I have a friend who is living there and I'm going to live with him for a while. I was originally going to stay a month, but am now looking into job opportunities with hopes to extend my stay.

How did you find your current job? I have a few questions. I look forward to meeting you.

I found my job a couple month ago actually just searching the internet. But I'm sure when I get down there I could ask the directress of the school if she knows of any other jobs available. How long has your friend been down there for? Where does he live? Do you have an e-mail address I could contract you with? Very Happy

My friend has been there since October. He's been to Chile a handful of times. He has family there, so he's able to visit often. I lived with him for about 8 months in Montreal last year and we were friends in high school before that. Anyway, his address is:
