Ours is okay. It has 2 bedrooms, heat and a/c in the living rm, small kitchen (with 2 people, it is crowded), toilet rm with a sink that leaks and a toilet that took 1 year to get it fixed correctly, bathing rm, and washer/dryer that you can wash 2 pair of pants in (and take 3 hours to dry).
It is on campus with an electric gate that stays open at the walk thru 24/7, complete with security guards that sleep all night. They are so alert that one of our motorbikes made it off campus (at night, and yes, it was locked) never to seen again. I wish we got paid for sleeping....
The badminton courts are right outside our bed rm window. Students like to peep in the windows. Very little to no privacy for us.
Our flat is nothing we would even think about living in at home, but I guess for here, it is okay. From what we have heard from other FT's, we are supposedly quite lucky. The upside is that the location is very convenient, the neighbors are kind to us, and it is only a short walk to work. |

What I most like about mine is that it has hot running water to the sinks, the main bedroom with ensuite is as big as a small apartment itself and it's 20 minutes walk to the beach.
And the backyard.

(Now how the heck do you post a pic?)
|
Code: |
Insert image: |
Becomes this:
It's safer to post pictures that are already online, than it is to post pictures directly from your computer (unless you're behind a firewall and have anti-virus software). I agree that 'Photobucket' will offer a much stabler link!

I'd like to post a photo here, but it doesn't show when the 'preview' button is clicked; all that appears is the code. Can anyone help? |

Must be something wrong with your code.....unless you're trying to paste from your own computer. That doesn't work. |

The Key is NOT to link directly to your own computer but to download your pics to a pic hosting site and link to that.
I use photobucket. As one poster has already pointed out it's not to reliable in China, there are others.
In photobucket the URL (which you cut and paste to Daves, click img paste url then click img again), begins with img. , I find it won't work unless I delete the img. in the url address.
Example
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/ZhuhaiGongbeiMacau021.jpg
Becomes
http://photobucket.com/albums/v331/ZhuhaiGongbeiMacau021.jpg
Then you can do this by encapsulating it between the [img] [/img] quotes.

Thanks, it's just a little Nikon compact digital (forget what it's called).
Due for replacement soon but getting married and having a baby's put the plans for a Nikon D70 on hold for a while. |

Why? Quite frankly I don't like the insinuation.
Or am I being too sensitive?

I can Justify a new camera to the missus I suppose, better pictures of the lad.
