hey,

i'll be in Taiwan in a few weeks and I am looking for help sourcing decent bike stores/factories.
i'm looking to build/buy a bike for touring.
so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated!

Giant manufactures their bikes in Taiwan, so I'd be surprised if they didn't have a store/distributor in Taiwan.

Happy riding! I fully intend on investing in a good bike once I arrive.

I'm no velodrone, but I did live with some of Whistler's finest mountain bikers. Even these guys would be impressed with local mountain bike legend Alan Mah (mamke sure you check out his ride). If you want things done right and at the best possible prices, then Alan's Bikes on Roosevelt Road Section 6, about 100 meters south of Keelung Road (westside, before the next set of lights) is the place to go. And his wife Yen speaks perfect English (she should, she's a former student of mine) and is sweet as cherry pie. Say hi to Shayne for me if she's there.
