Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me some help with the orientation of the city of Kaohsiung. I'm actually wondering where National Sun Yat-Sen University is relative to the city.

I'm heading to Kaohsiung on February 25th to teach and my girlfriend will be studying at NSYSU. We're looking at apartments and we'd like to be relatively central/accessible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Oh yeah, I heard that there's a good concentration of Canadians in Kaohsiung! So, I can't wait to meet you all.

a great resource for K-Town teachers...also, when you get here look for South magazine, they have really helpful maps!

The university is on the ocean, so to the west of the city. I play road hockey out there some saturdays, it's a nice place to go driving and hiking.

zoom out a bit to get a sense of where the rest of the city is in relation. I guess you'd want something near the love river then to keep it central.
