I recently started a blog called Vegetable Japan, that will have recipes, shopping information, restaurant reviews, all the resources I can muster in one place, to help the vegetarian community here. For anyone not vegetarian there are recipes you might like anyway, like great-tasting chai. Smile and Indian curries.

6810 has just kindly contributed an article with kanji for food ingredients, especially good for those looking for prepared food from the conbenie or elsewhere. If you have anything to contribute, whether it be good recipes or places to get something, or interesting sites, even restaurant reviews, it would be great if you could send me an IM or leave a comment on the blog.

Thanks and happy eating . Smile

(Just bumping this up so everyone gets a chance to see it. )

I have also started a "Safe Product of the Week" feature with a recipe to use it. No reason non-vegetarians can't make them too. Smile This week it's the packs of pre-cooked beans with a super quick recipe for "One-Burner Chili" especially good if you're in one of those tiny kitchens and sick of conbenie food.
