Hello folks,
I'm off to teach business english in Milan in a few days. It'll be my first time in Italy, so if you want to tell me something about Milan, or Italy (good and bad) then let's hear about it! Offload your pent up angst (or love) here!
Cheers! |

Hello Craig,
I have an interview with Caledonian this week so I was just wondering how you are getting on and what you think of the school. Any other information from anyone else would also be appreciated. |

Hate to put you off but I travelled round Europe a few years back and out of 30 odd cities I visited Milan was the biggest disappointment of the lot. I just found the place a bit dull and lacking somehow. Milano Centrale station didn't seem very, well 'Centrale' at all. The Youth hostel was a bit like a prison camp, a curfew at 10pm, a bell next day at 0800 to wake us up repeated at 15 minute intervals and the place shut between 0900 and 1500. Of course I saw it only through a backpackers eyes and in the context of having spent six weeks in Spain which was much cheaper so maybe you'll have a much better time. Hope so! |
