is it possible to go directly from osaka airport to hiroshima WITHOUT going into osaka's main train station? I vaguely remember that some trains from the airport did not go into the center of osaka.
any info would be helpful. thanks. |

Not 100% sure but I doubt it. The quickest way would be to get the Haruka from kansai airport to shin-osaka staion the get the shinkansen to Hiroshima. |

yes you can. From Itami you can get to Shin-Osaka station.
Do you mean the airport in Itami or Kansai Airport?
From Itami you take the monorail to Senrichuo.
From there you go a few stops to Esaka where you get off the train and wait for Midosuji.
From Kansai Airport, you can take Haruka to Tennoji, then change for Midosuji. Haruka is expensive. It is cheaper to take a regular JR train, or even to take the Nankai line, and change at Namba.

I would guess that the Haruka is quicker but more pricey, depends what your budget is.

my answer is correct. Midosuji goes to Shin-Osaka, where the shinkansen is. You don`t know Osaka well, do you? |

Wrong? Prove it. I have done this before. I don`t mind saving money by taking the subway. |

you sound like a newbie. My wife is from Osaka, and I have been there many times.
Just because I work in Machida doesn`t mean I don`t know Osaka. |

By the way freesolo, when you are in Japan you have to use chopsticks, I haven't learnt how to use them yet.

I prefer to save money. Take Haruka if you wish. But it is not the only option.
It may be the fastest option.
There is nothing pathetic about me. I am sober.

Brooks is right. From Senri Chuo, you take the Kitaosakakyuko which is physically the same train, but is run by two companies until Esaka. The only thing Brooks is wrong about is that you wouldn't have to get off the train.

There is no point in argueing about this. Your location is Machida, Tokyo so I should know more about this than you. |
What a poor attempt to win an argument. Ever think he used to live here? According to your logic, your location is Kyoto, Japan and you shouldn't be spouting off information about Osaka. But, if you insist on "argueing" about this, go for it. How do you have time...shouldn't you be doing a GABA lesson right now?
To the original poster: If you want to go from Kansai Airport to the shinkansen, there are many train options, but from Itami, it's closer. |
