Just wondering if any of you have gone green for St. Patrick's Day in Nihon? Any parades? Parties? One search has turned up "The Hill of Tara" in Kyoto this Sunday. Any celebrations in Gifu/Aichi/Mie? Any fun "St. Pat's in Japan" stories?

My wife and I went to the parade in Omotesando last year, but it was a disappointing affair with mostly kids and their mothers. As to hitting pubs, I hardly need a holiday to motivate me to do that! |

The Omotesando St. Pat's Parade is pretty small, but my Irish friends always go. It would be disappointing if you've seen the parade in New York or similar though. |
