There are loads of ads on the metro billboards at the moment about Hep C. Why?

Is there some sort sort of scare on. I haven't seen anything in the papers.

What doe the adds say? I saw them, but because of my poor turkish language skills could only figure out it was about Hep C.

I am going to do a basic hygiene course but I have found out that unlike the CELTA you can fail it. Looks like I will have to study for it.

Unlike the CELTA course, they might also require that the applicants themselves are hygenic ...

Hep C is not to be joked about it... its contracted via s e x and also by saliva, dirty water... and other such methods...once gotten its there for your life...you wont die immediately but it screws with your liver and is contagious via s e x.


I have someone in my family who has it...and they have lived with it for years...

Maybe anywhere else in the world but not here in Turkey. STD's seem to be a bit of a novelty and they are all immune to it anyway Wink

I bet you catch Hep C at public pools, hammams or any other places like that which are used by people not being a member of your extended family.
I mean hammams, seriously don't go there. Not hygenic and THE place to catch all kinds of scary deseases Wink
