Just would like any feedback to anyone who may have or currently is working at EF in Istanbul.

I've been told contracts are not often honoured here in Turkey, is that a fair assumption?

Any enlightenment would be welcome.

I'm on my second round at EF- I did a 9 month contract a few years ago in Suadiye and am back in another (open ended) session in Levent, working full time out at Vodafone. I have no complaints. Seriously. I know that there have been problems but I don't know exactly what they are or who had them, and so far nothing bad or disreputable has happened to me. I am much happier in my current situation than I was at the uni or the kolej. So far everything I've been promised or that I requested has been honoured ( including my request to not do split shifts, to not work mornings, to take a month off to go see my bf, etc) ; Steph the DoS at Levent is totally pro and goes above and beyond the call of duty; Zeynep and Bora the owners are currently starting a massive overhauling of the schools to be more professional and accountable to staff and students (including payrises and more mon-fri, 9-5 shifts). I'm staying. I think there is a lot of potential here.

That said, I have heard that people have been unhappy or that things haven't ben honoured--- but I can only speak from my own experience and it has been pretty positive.
