I have just started my 3rd year at the kindergarten i work at.this year the size of classes are bigger.
i have a K2 class and there are just over 40 children in the class.theres not much room to move around in the class.
so what kind of games or activities can you do with a class this size?

I use DVDs and have the kids repeat after me, he likes her, they are running, look he is fat, I say this type of stuff along with body language while using an exaggerated voice. I buy the DVDs for 8 RMB and everyone is happy. The kids learn well this way! One DVD runs for one and a half hours so you get two 45 minute classes out of it etc

Try to use some cheap props they mike understand and have an interest in.

Pokemon cards and Yu Gu I cards keep their interest and you can let them keep them when done.

Kindergarteners should not have to sit still and listen to a teacher - they need moving around and learning how to control their body!

Anyway, you can't do much with 40 kids in an undersized room; my best tip is to use a VCD called "English Wonderland" which comes in a monolingual version (but can be bought as a bilingual one, which I do not endorse).
The series consists of 5 VCDs and each is accompanied by a book with transcripts of the spoken dialogues from the VCD.

The kids learn English that way very easily, picking up proper pronunciation and intonation.

Each VCD has about 20 episodes; the characters are the same animals (monkeys, a cat, a dog, ducks etc.).

One episode lasts between 5 to ten minutes; the rest of your time you can rehearse with the kids and vary the dialogues a little, or you can play two to three episodes.

Um my way acts like immersion teaching where the students connect after a while to what you say and have them repeat. For instance in South Korea I had about 450 middle school girls in a country town score 20% above the provincial average on average.

I always have the subtitles on in their language. The input is big this way with high repetition of words used.
