I live in Korea and (as mentioned in a previous post) am trying to take my band through a tour of Japan this coming summer.

It seems finding venues on the internet without any ideas as to where to start, is pretty....dang...tough.

I'm wondering if people living in cities south of Tokyo could give us the name of English publications; tourist mags OR (better) entertainment sources for their cities. It would be, wow, very much appreciated.

I'm specifically looking for:
Kyoto
Kobe
Osaka
Nagoya
Hiroshima
Okayama

I've done some preliminary search stuff, but dang, I'm having a hard go. Your help is very much appreciated.

Dude, I still haven't forgotten about you. Still researching venues on my end -- but it's taking some time -- been busy. I have at least 1 place/city I can recommend (about 2 hours West from Tokyo)... But I'll let you know if/when I know more.

YES!!! Thanks brooks! I was trying to find a place in Hiroshima...(I found that "japaninyourpalm.com" website but it has not contact info). BRILLIANT!!!
