Hello to all. I am moving to Japan (Yamaguchi Prefecture) in early May and have heard that there is somewhat of a Flamenco scene there. Does any one know about this?

Where I live, in Osaka, when I walk to the station to go to work I walk past about three or four flamenco schools. This could be a regional thing but I imagine in the big cities they shouldn't be hard to find. The only thing is that they don't seem to be run by Spanish instructors but by Japanese instructors. I don't know what your Japanese proficiency is like and I am sure you'll excuse me if I say I am not a flamenco fan having never participated in my life.

As you can probably guess I am more of a salsa and breakdancing guy.
