|
|
Hey all,
Well I'm here in BA currently looking for more work. As I don't seem to be having much luck with Institutes, I wanted to try going with the privates route. The thing is, I don't really know how to go about finding privates.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on this matter - where to find the best privates. I'm guessing that people are just going to tell me to put up flyers, but I don't actually know where the best places to advertise are.
Can anyone help me out? |

Come on travelman, think hard....the private universities--where students have more money to pay for privates--? put an ad in the classifieds? What kind of students do want to attract? businessmen/women or college students? Put flyers in places where your ideal student would be walking around. Use that thing inside your head. Good luck. |

Actually, I'm not sure how it is down here, but in the US, you might make an argument that college students have more disposible income (coming from their parents, for example), and as such could pay more for CERTAIN goods (like, beer, condoms, etc...)
With that said, I don't know if English lessons are exactly on the agenda for college students in a private school...
Actually, I was thinking of just putting flyers all around Palermo and Recolleta - it's the richer part of the city and, hopefully, people will pay more for lessons.
Still, I'm not exactly sure if this is the best strategy. Again, I would think that it would be EASIER to target college students simply because, maybe, they have a stronger drive to learn English more than other people.
Again, I'm not sure... |
