1) Where are you?

Canada. Lived in rural Niigata for 3 years in the late 90's on JET; returned to work at a university in Aichi from 2001-2004.

2) which type of school/establishment do you work?

Today- Canadian university (in a field unrelated to ELT)

3) Do you enjoy Japan?

Loved it. Met my wife, had our first child there, had a great first career, allowed me to do all of the stuff I wanted to do in my 20's before "settling down".

4) How long you been in Japan?

6 years altogether. I visit for 2 weeks a year as part of my current job for which I am grateful.

5) How long you planning on staying?

Six years was just right. We didn't want to raise our family there and I felt I needed a career change. ELT was fun while it lasted but it was starting to get stale.

Would also like to get my ni-dan in aikido here too and to live in Tokyo at some point...no time scale on those though.
