Hi,
I just moved into a place today and the gas guy came and set it up for me.
You know the scandal of the killer CO-pumping water heaters around Japan last year?
I'm kind of scared of mine, particularly that I don't 100% understand how it works.
He exaplined it all to me, and checked it all through. I basically get it, but it's still a worry.
I opted for the new alarm, by the way.
To check, you turn the fuel on when you want hot water, and after you're done, close the sucker. Is that the general rule?
I asked him what would happen if I left the thing on open all day, and he didn't say it would be lethal, but just wise to turn it off every time....... |

So when there's an earthquake you don't have an explosion. |
