now, Jeff...i thought you didn't need a medical check...something interesting about F that allows you to stay for a longer period of time in the country, but it doesn't require you to get it...

Agree with you on this. The F allows up to one year of stay with a max of 90 days. A friend from Brazil has an F for one year and was able to extend it at the local PSB and never had to leave China for the whole one year period. So he basically stayed the entire time - one year- without leaving- and never a medical check. Then when it expired he told me he went to see a "friend" in Fuzhou who got him a new one year F and he didn't have to make an HK run. So he can now stay for a longer period without leaving.

since i hate those nuisance medical checks for my residency permits and since i am affraid of the hospitals "clean needles" for blood tests (not affraid of nurses Laughing ), i will consider getting an F in near future ... f*ck the risk of workin' on F that might equal to the risk of getting a hep, hiv etc in hospitals Wink

peace to hospitals as well as one country with two or more systems
and
cheers and beers to all hard working FTs under all kinds of visas provided by great chinese authorities Very Happy

English

that is because you have never had the one legged saw bones at the Travelers Hosp. in Changchun. When she limps towards you with that culture swab with her age spotted shaking claw you'll do a back flip to avoid that torturous testing.
