I headed out for this party at about 2:30 PM. After making my way to Sanjo station to catch a bus to Umenoki (closest stop Daikokudani Camp Area) I am told by iformation that the last bus for Umenoki left at something like 2 PM:-( from a different station several hours ago by this time.

I have my ticket but the location is about a 10,000 + yen cab ride from here. The event started about 1/2 hr ago and continues until tomorrow. Under the slightest chance that anyone from this forum is going, and with nothing to lose I post this. Anyone out there going, and have the space for one more and a camping bag?

Thanks.

Thanks Smile

I was able to get to the party later Saturday, or rather early Sunday...3A.M. a friend was goind there late and picked me up on the way there.

I hung out at the river in Kyoto, met some nice people, some drummers, and played with two musicians there, then went to the party and partied hard all night to about 3 or 4 ish Sunday afternoon. It was VERY wet, but it was still a good time:-)

I finally got home at midnight after after helping the crew break down and pack the party.
