I love you Serious Fun!! Your individualism really makes this board....
As for the overall salary discussion, I think Kaifeng is exaggerating things to a degree that is misleading. Yes, it's possible to do what he suggests, in the long run. However, that is not the reality for 99.9% of the people here.
Your posts are the equivalent to suggesting that it's realistic for everyone to win 10 million with Publisher's Clearinghouse. That's just not reality, as nice as it sounds.
For most people who read these boards and plan on being in Taiwan for 1 year and then go home (which is almost everyone), you may as well discuss the benefits of becoming a rocket scientist. It would have the same applicability!! |
