My contacts tell me that the previous postings re salaries and accommodation are out of date. All staff have recently received a 20% pay rise and are now accommodated in new spacious light flats. Perhaps somebody on the spot can confirm. |

Yes it's true- a friend of mine works there. They are now on just over
10 000QR and have been moved to a new building..... |

The apartment block they were in a couple of years ago would not have beeen out of place in downtown Kabul. |

They are are recruiting new staff. Check the Guardian's job section. They have an ad there. Maybe last Monday (April 19?) |

There have been a lot of changes. I once did a stint at this place when I was working with old Malachy. The salary is low but the housing isn't too bad. The students are weak and need a lot of language support. I don't know how good the new management is.

Good-bye AC. I enjoyed working there when Malachy was King. A nice place. I hope they build you a state of the art school out in Al Khor. It's time more money was invested in this school. |
