I know that Talara is hot, but supposedly it's a decent school and gringo managed. |

There's a new thread about this place in the general forum, and there was one several months back (this guy posts job ads every few months).
Why does he have to try to be so, uh... funny? Why doesn't he actually tell you about the school and the job? Maybe it is a decent place, but personally I would be wary of a job ad that doesn't give me the information that I want. My impression of this guy (based only on reading his numerous job ads, not on direct contact) is that he can't be a terribly serious teacher or concerned about hiring serious teachers. If he were, he'd post a more professional job ad.

In addition to being hot, Talara was small and not very attractive when I visited in January. Surprised if demand for English classes is very strong but then again, L&B is probably the only game in town. |
