...And have you been involved in this since before coming to Japan or have you picked it up since arriving?

When I lived in Japan I took up snowboarding, and it has nearly replaced ice skating as my favorite activity.
I also took ikebana classes. I haven't been able to continue with them outside of Japan, though.

I've been counting my cojones ( 47 last time I looked) and dividing that number by the sum of Nonsmoker's brain cells, (2)
The answer is completely and perfectly true. |

I know what country you live in. Don't make me go over there. |

It was smoking, but I finally gave it up, although I do occasionally crave a fag every now and then when I have had one too many drinks. |

Hey that is great! Keep up the good work. Smoking is expensive, unhealthy, and just plain stupid. I also crave a cig whilst drinking but after a while, you get used to it and the cravings diminish. How long have you been smoke free? |

Sports cars and drifting, photography, travel... I was into them before coming to Japan but have gotten more into them since getting here.
Dance, art, event production... used to be really into them back home and haven't been keeping up with them in Japan.
It's just a matter of what's accessible and catches my interest at the time. |

My hobbies have changed as I have settled into a life with a partner who thinks talking about exercise is the same and mtetropolitan life and all it entails. That and a second childhood keeps the pc busy. |

The early 80s weren't so bad, and then there were the very late 90s. Of course the mid/late 60s had their moments...
But then again if I have all of history to choose from... |

For me, my favorite past time is the French Revolution. The whole thing with the guillotine is kinda morbid but fascinating -- like a train wreck. You don't want to look but you can't turn your head away.
I also agree with sheep that the 80s were rather interesting. |

Nice! Are you living in Japan now? How often do you get to play? |
