I'm taking a trip O/S this week and have to get a re-entry permit.
Option 1
go into the city and get it there
wait and get it at the Immigration office at the Airport (assuming that they do it there) before I fly out. I should have plenty of time it's an evening flight.
Basically do they ever knock anyone back leaving me in the lurch. |

Yes it might take 15 mins in the city... but it will take the most if not all the morning to go into the city and come back again. Whereas if it takes 15 mins at the airport, well I'm already there, ducks all in a row etc. |

A friend of mine got his at the airport because he was too lazy to get it done at the immigration office. He had to endure a chewing out and they went through the motions of looking very annoyed about it all. He got his re-entry permit but I think it was only a single-issue one. If you are playing on more than one trip abroad then it is definitely worth getting a multiple one. They are twice the price but can be used for the duaration of your visa. |
