Hello all,

I've started to pack my bags for my upcoming move to the Czech Republic, and realized I have far too many clothes, so I am trying to eliminate any non-essential goods. I keep reading that the recommended attire for work is business casual, however most Europeans have a more formal idea as to what business casual is. Can anyone really narrow it down to what the recommended wardrobe for teaching actually is (I.E. khaki's, pressed slacks, or anything that is not jeans and without holes)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated (by both myself and the nice folk that will be loading my luggage onto the plane at the airport I'm sure).

And I am a girl if this has any influence on the advice.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think for a woman, nice trousers, a blazer or two, maybe a couple of skirts or dresses... I would personally say 'no' to that idea of 'anything that's not jeans or holey.'
Watch out for winter attire! This past winter was crazily mild, but it usually gets quite cold and the humidity makes that cold REALLY cold. You'll want some serious layers.

The good news is that if you find you're lacking something, there are millions of clothing stores in Prague!!

Thanks for the help!

I just wanted to confirm what the essentials are for work attire. I'm hoping to not have to buy anything when I get there, or as little as necessary.
