Hello all,
I've read some good articles recently about the ongoing steep rise in the price of gas. So,I want to prepare some specific lessons on this topic. I'm curious as to the average price of a liter of gas in Japan,Taiwan,Thailand,Hong Kong, etc. Can anyone help me out? Good day.

Thank you!

In Malaysia it's about RM 1.50, which is less than $0.50 USD per litre. The tank in my scooter only takes RM 4 and it gets me to and from school all week. I'd like to thank Petronas for that one. I'd also like to thank Petronas for hosting the Grand Prix. Those twin towers are also pretty cool.

I wish Exxon and co. were more like Petronas.

In Japan it averages to 125-135 yen/liter. Rough conversion to American dollars is 120 yen/dollar and 4 liters/gallon.

China 4.5/5 RMB a litre, so about US$0.30.
UK is hitting that "magical" 1 per litre!

If you're interested in hearing from a non-Asian country, the local price here in Oaxaca, Mexico is about 7 pesos/liter. (That's roughly 70 US cents, or about $2.80 US per US gallon.)

Here's another non-Asian country for you. Kuwait is around .06 KD per liter which about $0.20, so about $0.80 per gallon. One of the few benefits of living in the Gulf.
