This sounds good to me too. I'll be there if I can find it, maybe someone can buy some red, white and blue baloons to mark out our territory? I'll bring my famous Thai chicken salad ( food for how many? ) and a blanket for lounging. Someone should bring a boom box. I can bring my iPod and small speakers, though it's not very powerful.

Someone should bring paper plates, cups, and utensils. And if anyone has a Porta-Potty kicking around....

True...but, I was thinking that after a few drinks the bushes might start to look a bit too inviting.

Then there's always Moctezuma's Revenge for any new folk. Without getting too graphic, that cheeks-clenched duck waddle in search of a bathroom isn't pretty over a 500 m dash.

I dont know the name of it, but there is a small mall bordering the park to the north. Probably has facilities. I dont know too many ppl who own a port-a-potty.

Not that I condone it, but Im sure those bushes have been peed in before.

I'll bring a potato salad and some veggie kabobs to throw on the grill..I'll have some extras if anyone is interested.

I have a stereo that I can bring...plays MP3s so bring any disks along if you'd like to throw them on. I'll get some batteries for it.

I'll also pick up some garbage bags so that we don't leave the place a mess.

It occured to me last night that it is almost certain to rain sometimes during the pachanga. Is everyone prepared to deal with that or should we relocated indoors somewhere?

The park has a number of covered areas, including the"Strawberry Fields" pavillion we plan to occupy. We should be OK... but bring a light jacket as it cools down when it rains.

Besides the rain...I suggest if anyone plans on drinking something harder than kool-aid that they bring it premixed so as not to flaunt it around.

As for the rain, it hasn't been too bad around here lately so I would think we'll be fine. And if not, we are in a covered area and if gets really bad, we can hit the metro and cram into my place if needed...I'm not that far down the line.

Bumping this thread up.... Everything is still a GO guys!

I bought paper plates, cups forks and napkins so we wont be without. Got 2 small grills too. Need charcoal

Any ideas how to fill the water balloons? Theres a fountain in the park but no spigots to force the water in....

Oh yeah, and to really do this right, someone needs to bring the 1812 Overture to play as we fight.
