Why anyone, man or woman, Moroccan or foreigner, would walk around alone at nigh,t in defiance of all common sense, is a mystery to me.
I don't go by embassy advisories, they would much prefer having none of their countrymen leave their own country. It just makes more work for those idiotic govt sods don't you know?

When I had a car, I used it. There are a lot of traffic stop$ after 11 at night so it is generally not a good idea to be out on the road then. Peace Corps volunteers also followed this rule. Of course you might be on a bus or train somewhere, you still might be questioned.
