Hi all,

I would appreciate it if anyone knew some moving companies because I need to move my stuff from kyushu to my next working place in Gunma Prefecture.

However, the thing is, that my next job will not start until September and I need to move out of Kyushu by 31 July. Therefore, I must stay in a guest house for about four weeks. As I have a digital piano, it would be cool if a company can store it for me somewhere for a period of four weeks before bringing it to my new apartment when I can move in.

Does anyone know if this is possible? What do you think my options are?

P.S. I could just leave my piano with a friend in my current town before they send it to me, but I don't want to burden them.

Cheers.

You could give one of these places a shot;

http://www.reisebox.co.jp/index2.html
http://www.my-trunk.jp/
http://www.quraz.com/

I have a quraz storage around the corner from my house - the place is huge. Plenty of room for a piano!

Good luck with your move.

Flyingkiwi, how are you getting the bulk of your stuff across Japan? I've got 20, count 'em 20, boxes that I sent to a friend in Fukushima and I'll need to have them delivered to my new apartment in Tokyo. I was thinking of just using takkyubin, but maybe there is a better way?
