hey hey,
so far ive got:
2yr diploma
2yr years of uni education (1 yr off full degree)
TESOL
and 1 yr teaching experience in China
i seem to have everything but the full degree...
will any schools still take me on? (legally)
who?

Need to finish the degree really.
Shame, as with the TESOL and year in China you're more experienced and qualified than 99% of degree graduates that turn up at eikaiwas.
The degree's usually a requirement for the visa though. |

Finish the degree! This country is already waaaay too full of drop-outs.
The Japanese have their own unqualified wasters to worry about called 'NEET' (Not in Education, Employment or Training). Take inspiration from this and get YOURSELF into Education or Training. |

I agree. You will have so many more options (including the option to stay basically as long as you want) if you finish your degree first.
With that said, with a working holiday visa you could get a couple of part time gigs and support yourself. I don't think it would be too hard. But if you have the expert in humanities visa that degree holders get, you can get a full time job with paid vacations etc. |
