Hi there,

Is a vias required to go to Macau for a day visit? -if so, what visa - Chinese I assume?

I have heard that if you go as part of an "organised group trip" you don't have to get a visa. Can individuals just go themselves?

Also, if anyone has been on a good tour/activity in Hong Kong - could you please tell me, and who the tour provider was?

Thanks heaps
Jo

For Kiwis -- no visa required for a visit to Macau.

Great - thanks!

Do you know if you can go there independantly -or do you have to be part of a group? Are there regular boats there where you can just turn up, or do you have to organise earlier

Thanks

Just get a ferry from Hong Kong. No dramas. No need for tour group. 1 hour trip and they run 24 hours.

I do not know for sure, but I would be VERY surprised if Americans need a visa for Macau. They even let Kiwis in.
