can anyone recommend a good academia de baile or any other place (group or one-on-one especially) for dance lessons in DF? i tried a couple places before but was disappointed by the quality of instruction, and neither one offered one-on-one classess.
while i'm at it, i'm also curious if anyone has experience with the UNAM spanish classes at the main campus in CU, or knows anyone who has, and also whether anyone has experience with other spanish classes (for example, the school(s) in and around colonia roma).
thanks in advance |

If you take a Spanish course at CEPE-UNAM, I believe they throw in free dance lessons as a cultural add-on, depending on what's being offered. |

When I lived in Mexico I took dance lessons as a way of improving my Spanish. I learned how to count in Spanish really well! |

Matt,
I know many people who studied a semester or a year at CEPE-UNAM as part of their Spanish major from a US university. They all loved it. I looked into the program, but ultimately choose a program in Chile. Not because I thought it was a better, but because it was in Chile. I figured, Mexico is right next door, I can go there anytime. But when am I ever going to have another chance to go to Chile.
If think if you are looking at programs specifically in Mexico it, probably the program to go with. You can do a year long diploma in Spanish and Mexican studies there, I looked at the program in detail and it looks very good. |
