I arrived in Japan with an eikaiwa job that I had landed in the US, and it made the transition much easier. The bigger eikaiwa will help you find accommodations, and you'll have the other teachers at your school to help you get situated.

Can you post links to these eikaiwas? Can you apply on their websites? I'd appreciate it if anyone can post links to these eikawas. I'm in the process of applying to the recruiting agencies like Aeon and Nova.

It's more of a summary of my experience with two of the Big Four eikaiwa, and a comment on what I've heard from teachers from the other two. Links to the first two are included. I'll send it to you.

AEON and Nova are not recruiting agencies. They're two of the larger companies themselves.

Look through the archives and stickies at the top of the board. All the info you want is in there.
