whitjohn, I like the idea. My students tend to be interested in such things, maybe because they know appallingly little about what their "great thinkers" actually said or did.
Of course some kind of lesson plan is needed. What are your goals for the class, your teaching objectives? And then some notes over time about what tends to work, what doesn't.
(he says with confidence despite the fact that this semsester has been the worst teaching semester he has had so far..in his mind, although the school he is at is one that couldn't care less, which is why maybe the students don't care, and he is caring less..oops..that's all secret!) |
