Seriously, we were by the coast at Bostanci and everyone suddenly looked at the sky because a ball of light came hurtling past.
It was like a clear ball with flames inside and moving fast. Gradually it gained height and eventually became too small to see (by which time the concentration span of all Turkish onlookers and photographers had long been exhausted).
I don't know what the explanation could be - perhaps some scientific experiment. |

I know language develops but I am on a personal mission to stop adjectives being used as nouns(yes I am aware of fairy tales usage of my pretty) So don't do it again Yaramaz......... hang on .....your user name is an adjective  |

I hadn't drunk anything stronger than a cup of cay I promise. I discussed this with my students but they couldn't think of any explanation other than some sort of test. None of them saw it and there was no coverage in the paper as far as I know although some mention on the net.
