I am planning on travelling around Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam around Fer/March next year, then finding work in Vietnam (I finish in Korea in December and go home to Scotland for a little while).
I'd love to hear from people currently working, or who have previously worked in Vietnam. Where do you live, did you find your job after arriving? I've been told that it's easy to get a job once you arrive, but I still find the prospect of coming to a country I've never been before and travelling around trying to locate schools quite daunting.
I have this idea that in Vietnam the lifestyle is much better, I will have more free time than I do in Korea and opportunities for a little travel. Am I fooling myself here? (I'd even be prepared to work part time when I first arrive to allow myself time to settle and continue searching for better job opportunities).
I'd be really grateful for any advice people could give me, or any suggestions for finding word & most importantly, where should I work in Vietnam? |
