I'm in desperate need of Realia materials, preferably plastic, as in plastic fruits/vegies, animals and bugs for use in my classes.
Anybody have any places you go for these items, besides Toys-R-Us?
I would think with 99% of plastic toys coming out of China, I could find an abundance here.
Thanks for your help |

Fuk Wing Street, Sham Shui Po, is nothing but toy shops. If you can get it at all, it'll be there. |

Visit the Professional Teacher's Union Center.
There is a large shop filled with stationary, electrical goods, and of course teaching aids.
In order to be able to purchase goods there you will need to register, approximately $80.
If I recal correctly they have 2 branches, 1 in Mong Kok and the other in Causeway Bay.
BTW with all the recent dangers raised over the safety of chinese manufactured toys, it might be prudent to purchase from Toy's R Us. |

Thanks for your input.
I found lots of goodies at neighboring streets to that open market you referred me to.
At the open market itself, you can get 11 stickers for $10.
Even bought some SPONGEBOB for myself! |

Wow. Had no idea that place existed.
I shall look it up. I'm usually in Mong Kok every Tuesday.
Cheers. |

Fa Yuen street in MongKok has plastic fruit for sale at a couple of the stores. Lam Fai toys on the corner of Fai Yuen and Bute street is also a good place to go for goodies. |
