So imagine the scenario- you have one door into your classroom/office ( some rooms have two, but one is not in use). You are presented with a newly designed notice saying Please use this door and instructed to post it on your door ( the ONE door you have).

You respond by saying, but I only have one door, but are still instructed to stick it up anyway.

Do you

a) throw it in the bin ?

b) Stick it up ( centrally positioned of course) ?

c) Stick it up adding as opposed to the wall -through which you may have intended entering ?

d) Stick it up their a... ?

e) None of the above ?

How about hanging it backwards so that only the door itself can read it?

I like Veiled's idea.

In addition, furthermore, moreover and on the other hand....one Saturday , I may come into school and move all the fire escape arrows that have also been so meticulously put up with small pieces of specifically measured identically sized blu-tac...arrange them so that if you follow them , you will get back to where you started.....then sit back at Sunday's meeting and watch 'the one in charge who knows all' go postal.

As far as episodes of silliness in Gulf educational establishments go, this one is pretty mild.

True Cleo... one can only hope that their obsessions stay as tolerable... I sense that it could turn into some heavy-handed micro-management though. Laughing

In any looney bin you should expect the inmates to have a considerable say in how things are done.

Trouble is, in many looney bins, it can be awfully difficult to tell the warders from the inmates.

Come on, silly. Everyone knows the answer to this one.

You praise the person who designed the notice, and purchase shares of stock in the company that printed it.

No, you cut out all the little arrows from their laminated sacs.....pin them on to your best PJs and make a run for it over the wall....not forgetting , of course, to pack up your room for summer....
